Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is she heavyset, thin, short, rangy? She's short. Like, under 5' short, or 5' at the most. Skinny and small with not a lot of curves.

2. How old is she? Fifteen. Almost sixteen by now.

3. Describe her posture. Does she carry herself well or does she slouch? She stands up straight for the most part, even when she runs, which means she's usually not very fast.

4. How is her health? Is she fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities? Pretty fit, she doesn't run around outside as much as she used to, however. She doesn't have tons of stamina.

5. How does she move? Is she clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid? Fairly graceful, with a little of that childish clumsiness left over, as if she's just settled into her body. She's more or less stopped growing, so the adjusting is over. She's animated when she talks, gesturing with her hands a lot, making eye contact and tilting her head.

6. How attractive is this character physically? How does she perceive herself in the mirror? Fairly attractive, though she sees herself as more or less ordinary. She's comfortable with her looks.

7. Describe her complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred? Lightly tanned, from living on a tropical island.

8. Describe her hair: color, texture, style. A dark red, almost brown, but pretty rich in color. It's straight and sort of feathery, as well as fairly soft. Thick, too, though it's cut and layered in a way that makes it appear less so.

9. What color are her eyes? A dark blue that borders on violet.

10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features? Aside from being tiny?

11. What are her chief tension centers? She balls her hands into fists when she's angry, and tends to lean forward. And glare. When she's upset, she withdraws in a way, pulling her hands to her chest.

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does she have six of the same suit? She likes both pastel and bright colors, but she won't mix them. Aside from her pink dress, she wears sporty, practical things, like camisoles, shorts and leggings. Sneakers or sandals. She doesn't like clothing she can't run in.

13. Do her clothes fit well? Does she seem comfortable in them? Yes. She doesn't wear anything too baggy.

14. Does she dress the same on the job as she does in her free time? If not, what are the differences? When doing missions, she'll only dress up if she has to.

15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando? Canonically she wears white panties with a little pink bow on the front. Yes. Someone looked up the render's skirt.



Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse? Fairly high-pitched, but not annoyingly so.

2. How does she normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does she talk easily, or does she hesitate? She speaks confidently most of the time, and her voice usually shows plainly whatever emotion she's feeling.

3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics? Nothing really.

4. What language/s does she speak, and with how much fluency? Disney/Squeenix. :X Well, anyway, it's cast headcanon that Keyblade bearers get every language autotranslated for them, and then there's the Babelfish, so it's a moot point.

5. Does she switch languages or dialects in certain situations? See above.

6. Is she a good impromptu speaker, or does she have to think about her words? Yes, she's good at improvising.

7. Is she eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change? She usually uses simple, fairly ordinary words, though if her letter to Sora is anything to go by, she's capable of being poetic.



Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is she book-smart or street-smart? She's pretty even in both areas. She can take care of herself, and she's a decent student, though not a genius by any means. She likes learning, but prefers hands-on methods. She is a bit too trusting at times.

2. Does she think on her feet, or does she need time to deliberate? She's pretty impulsive. This isn't always a good thing.

3. Describe the character's thought process. Is she more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical? Simply put, she follows her heart. She's not completely illogical, but she'll usually go with her gut feeling over everything else.

4. What kind of education has the character had? A fairly normal one up through high school, whatever counts as normal on Destiny Islands. Basic language, grammar, math, sciences, whatever history they've got.

5. What are her areas of expertise? What, if anything, is she interested in learning more about? She likes making things, crafting, as shown when she made the thalassa shell charm, and helped build the raft. She also likes organizing.

6. Is she an introvert or an extrovert? Extrovert, definitely. She loves being around people.

7. Describe the character's temperament. Is she even-tempered or does she have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven? She's lively, though "cheerful" is a bit too strong a word to fully describe her. She's got a quiet about her sometimes, thanks to the things she's seen. She likes to tease, but that only comes out with the people close to her. When she gets angry, it's usually justified, but she won't hesitate to dish out a verbal smackdown.

8. How does she respond to new people or situations? Is she suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic? She likes meeting new people, but she won't talk about herself much until she's sure she can trust someone.

9. Is she more likely to act, or to react? Act. Though nowadays, react. (may elaborate later.)

10. Which is her default: fight or flight? Fight.

11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does she appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks? Again, she loves teasing, but she'll always let someone in on the joke eventually. It's never mean-spirited or cruel. Or crude, for that manner.

12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does she deal with them? Nnnno.

13. What moments in this character's life have defined her as a person? Her arrival on the islands. Her decision to explore with her friends. The moment where she impulsively asked Sora to go with her and leave Riku behind--probably her only regret. Recognizing the Heartless as Sora, witnessing Riku's determination to protect his friends. Waiting, waiting, waiting. Meeting Axel. Meeting Namine. Meeting Xion.

14. What does she fear? Losing her friends to the darkness.

15. What are her hopes or aspirations? To find a way home. A peaceful world.

16. What is something she doesn't want anyone to find out about her? Being a princess. 1. because it always seems to cause trouble, and 2. because she dislikes how people have used it to define her in the past. To herself, she's just Kairi, Riku and Sora's friend, and that's all she ever wants to be.



Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with her parents. She doesn't remember her parents, only her grandmother, faintly. She loved the woman very much, and always begged to be told stories.

She was raised by the mayor of Destiny Islands, and has a cordial relationship with him. Though she considers him family, she's never quite been able to refer to him as "dad".

2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like? N/A

3. Are there other blood relatives to whom she is close? Are there ones she can't stand? N/A

4. Are there other, unrelated people whom she considers part of her family? What are her relationships with them? Sora and Riku, Namine. And by extension, Donald, Goofy, and the King. She trusts them all implicitly.

5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet? Again, Sora and Riku. They found her washed up on the shore when she was little.

6. Does she have other close friends? She's made some other friends since coming to the Thor, namely Xion, Axel, Roxas, Naveen (now gone), and a few others.

7. Does she make friends easily, or does she have trouble getting along with people? She gets along with most people, though "friends" is a very broad term.

8. Which does she consider more important: family or friends? Friends mean the most to her.

9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has she been married more than once? Single.

10. Is she currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse? No.

11. Who was her first crush? Who is her latest? Sora. She only recently realized it, herself. Right now she's growing closer to Riku, though she feels like she needs to get to know him again after not seeing him for so long.

12. What does she look for in a romantic partner? Someone she can trust, someone who makes her smile.

13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does she relate to them? If no, does she want any? No, but she might in the future.

14. Does she have any rivals or enemies? None that she's aware of.

15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does she fall on the Kinsey scale? A 1 or a 2.

16. How does she feel about sex? How important is it to her? It's not really on her mind most of the time, but it would probably end up being something she enjoys. She likes being close to people, but it wouldn't define her relationship.
